Warm Chia Pudding
Adapted from Warm Chia Flax Pudding recipe by Kelly Leveque
Ingredients
1 TBS coconut oil, grass fed butter or ghee
1 cup almond or coconut milk
1 serving of protein powder of your choice (recommend Primal Kitchen Collagen Fuel in Chocolate or Vanilla)
1/2 TSP maca powder
3 TBS chia seeds
1 TBS hemp seeds
1 TBS ground flax
1 TBS almond butter or other nut butter
Optional Toppings
Bee pollen
Shredded coconut
1/4 cup berries of choice
Melt your oil, butter or ghee in the pan on medium heat. Add in almond or coconut milk, protein powder and maca. Whisk until combined. Then add in chia seeds, hemp seeds and flax seeds. Whisk well. Allow it to cook and thicken for 1 - 2 minutes. Turn the heat to low and add in your nut butter. Whisk and cook for another couple of minutes, or until it has reached an oatmeal like consistency. Remove from heat, pour into bowl and add your toppings. Enjoy!
